Where should my dog sleep?

While owners may really enjoy having their dogs sleep with them, it's a good idea to give your dog a place of it's own too. Many dogs prefer soft bedding on which they can stretch out. Make sure the bedding has a removable cover for regular washing.

Does my dog get cold?

If you have an older dog, or one with only a small percentage of body fat, it will appreciate a coat when the weather is chilly. To get the correct size, measure the length of it's body from the neck to the base of the tail. Make sure the coat is snug or it could fall off during a walk.

Are some toys better than others?

While dogs have different preferences to toys, you should definitely make sure there is nothing on the toy that they can accidentally swallow. Dogs really like a good chew toy, especially as puppies, to help with the discomfort of teething. This may also help deter from furniture chewing. As your dog gets older, toys such as frisbees and balls will help give your dog some exercise. Make sure the toy works well with the size of your dog.
